The embossed metal nameplate process relies on pressure to elevate text or images on a metal substrate. We use two custom dies to mark "impressions" in the chosen metal material.

The male mold consists of raised engravings on the surface, while its female mold has a recessed matching copy. To emboss the metal, the operator places the material between two dies held on a machine press. The press applies a lot of force to squeeze them together. Metal is pressed between the male and female mold assemblies. This technique superficially elevates text or images to produce the desired 3D effect. Various finishing techniques can also be implemented to enhance the appearance of the embossed nameplate. You can choose from a brushed or polished finish, or a more polished finish for a decorative look.
